Ed Sheeran will perform at the National Arena in Bucharest on August 24, 2024.

British megastar Ed Sheeran returns to Bucharest for the second time, after his performance at the National Arena in July 2019. Back then, he played in front of over 50,000 people, having a memorable entrance wearing the Romanian national football team shirt. He performed his most emblematic songs to a full stadium and was impressed by the fact that Romanians knew his lyrics by heart.

Tickets for this special event will be available on Thursday, October 26, at www.cts.eventim.ro.

Sheeran's next dates in Asia will take place in the first part of 2024, and the European shows follow his time on the continent last year. The news comes hot on the heels of his US tour, where Ed set several attendance records, including at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles and MetLife Stadium in New Jersey; in the case of the latter, Ed's audience surpassing any record obtained in the case of a single day concert in the USA, ever.

This year alone, Sheeran released two albums, ``-ʼ (Subtract) and Autumn Variations, both of which flew to No. 1 worldwide. Released to critical acclaim in May and September respectively, Sheeran worked with The National's Aaron Dessner on both LPs.
