Rewind attracts 40,000 festival-goers and has sold out in advance for the last few years.
As with the previous star-studded festivals, this year’s Rewind Henley weekend extravaganza features another stellar line-up of the crème de la crème of 80s recording artists and performers.
This year’s festival promises to be the best ever, and features an exclusive UK festival performance from iconic party pop band The B-52’s on Saturday 17th August, followed by a rare UK appearance from American R&B pop divas The Pointer Sisters on Sunday 18th August.
Other highlights include highly anticipated performances from Kim Wilde, Nik Kershaw, Belinda Carlisle, Blancmange, Sonia, The Blow Monkeys, Cutting Crew, Heaven 17, The Sugarhill Gang, Then Jerico, Billy Ocean, ABC, Paul Carrack, Matt Bianco, Aswad, Imagination featuring Leee John, plus many more.
New to the festival this year will be an exciting innovation in accommodation - Snoozebox - a revolutionary portable, transportable and temporary on-site hotel. Snoozebox is the brainchild of ex-Formula 1 racing driver, David Coulthard.

In addition to the rollercoaster, jam-packed August weekend of non-stop 80s music, Rewind Festival will also features loads of additional highlights including the Silent Disco, Live Karaoke Bar, plus Camping and Glamping (aka Glamorous Camping) options.
For the ultimate festival experience, Rewind festival-goers can pre-order a When Nature Calls wristband for access to the exclusive 'Loo Lounge' – situated under a luxury stretch marquee with a café and chill out zone. With warm water hand washing facilities and mirrors, these loos are cleaned after every use by uniformed attendants.
Originally launched at Henley-on-Thames in 2009, Rewind The 80s Festival boasts the biggest line-up of 80s artists in the world, and in its first four years has featured such iconic 80s names as: Boy George, Village People, The Human League, Gloria Gaynor, Kool & The Gang, Holly Johnson, Bananarama, and many more.
Rewind Festival in Henley-on-Thames has proven to be so popular with 80’s music audiences that 2011 saw the launch of its sister festival "Rewind Scotland" at Scone Palace in Perth, followed by Rewind Festivals in South Africa in 2012. With its global appeal escalating, the next stop for Rewind is Dubai and Bangkok later this year. |
