Rock im Park 2015 - day 2 | FESTIVALPHOTO

Rock im Park 2015 - day 2

The 2nd day of Rock im Park continued with the heatwave. But this didn't discourage festival visitors to come enjoy the performances of bands Pop Evil on Alterna stage in sport hall, Tüsn on Park stage or Donots at main stage, and sing with them their biggest hits, from early afternoon.

Saturday program on main stage offered also performances of punk legends Bad Religion who proved that despite 35 years on the scene has still what offer and still attract many fans; increasingly desired punk-rockers A Day To Remember who repeat their performance at this festival after 2 years, or Rise Against who come to present their new album The Black Market, which was released last year. Headliner of the 2nd festival evening was Germany’s star Die Toten Hosen.

On Alterna stage in sport hall which was totally overcrowded for whole day was presented except earlier mentioned Pop Evil, also bands Motionless in White, While She Sleeps, All That Remains, Skindred and also guitarist of Alter Bridge - Mark Tremonti with his solo project, or Body Count with rapper Ice-T. This band was a big surprise for me. I’ve seen them a few days before in Vienna, and after saw this performance I couldn’t skip them at Rock im Park.

Program on the Park stage offered during the day shows of a little bit different genre artists like Clueso, Jamie T, Mighty Oaks or Tocotronic. But on the evening the stage was occupied by horror show of Marilyn Manson and later by special late night disco set of DJ Fritz Kalkbrenner. During his set on the sky began to exaggerate flashes and start strong wind which signalize the upcoming storm. It finally comes in the middle of the night after the performance of Asking Alexandria. Because the safety of the festival visitors is very important for organizers, people was escorted from the camp to safety under the roof of the stadium and Colosseum.
