Atreyu announce London headline show

Having recently emerged from hiatus to announce their worldwide signing to Search and Destroy / Spinefarm Records and to make selected festival appearances in the US, including Slipknot’s Knotfest, Atreyu now have further exciting news for UK and European fans…

The band – from Orange County, California – will play a very special, intimate, one-off headline show at the Camden Underworld, London, on April 29th . Further to this, they will perform at their first European festival since their 2014 return to action, making an appearance at Groezrock in Belgium on May 1st 2015.

Atreyu frontman, Alex Varkatzas says: “It has been several years since we played in London or returned overseas for a big fun festival. There was a time when we were unsure if we would ever get these chances again. That time is now over, and we are coming to crush it!”

Pre-sale tickets for Atreyu’s London show will be available on December 4th with general sale going live from Friday December 5th at the following link: href="http://www.livenation.co.uk/artist/atreyu-tickets" target="_blank">http://www.livenation.co.uk/artist/atreyu-tickets

Formed in 1999, Atreyu stand as one of the key architects of the '00s American metal resurgence, selling over one million albums in a 10 year period, the most recent being 2009’s Congregation Of The Damned; as with each of their five albums, ‘Congregation…’ charted in the Billboard Top 20, boding well for studio outing number six – indeed, the five-strong metalcore outfit (completed by guitarists Dan Jacobs / Travis Miguel, bassist Marc McKnight & drummer / vocalist Brandon Saller) have already given fans a taste of things to come, making new song ‘So Others May Live’ available free of charge through their website.

Atreyu simmered on the backburner after 2009, leaving the individual members free to do other things and to flex different creative muscles, before reassembling beneath the Atreyu banner in July of 2014; with their new record deal now in place (the result of the newly-announced joint venture between Spinefarm Records and Raw Power Management), 2015 will see Atreyu touring all over the world in support of a new album.

The best is yet to come.
