SERPENTINE - RELOADED & READY TO ROCK!

Serpentine, the British quintet who burst on to the scene in 2010 with their Japanese charting ‘A Touch Of Heaven’ album are back after an enforced hiatus of over 12 months.

After a string of successful live performances across Europe alongside the likes of Ten, Romeos Daughter and FM cemented their reputation, plans for the bands third album were put on hold when bassist and founder member Gareth Vanstone had to quit due to a serious illness and Lead vocalist Matt Black also left due to musical differences.

The band however are delighted to announce the arrival of two new recruits who represent the cream of the South Wales music scene. Vocal powerhouse Adam Payne ( ex Tidal ) was identified very early on as the voice to represent Serpentine’s new era and he has been joined by former Triaxis man Owen Crawford whose playing on their acclaimed Rage & Retribution album mightily impressed.

Serpentine’s Gareth David Noon Commented: “ We’re delighted to welcome two prodigiously talented musicians into the band. Owen’s work with Triaxis is well documented and with Adam we feel so lucky that he has chosen to join us because a million bands would kill to have this guy singing for them. “

Serpentine’s new album ( due early 2015 ) is currently being recorded and is being produced by Ten’s Gary Hughes whose work with Bob Catley and Hugo met with great commercial and critical success. The band are very excited and honoured to have also landed the services of Neil Kernon ( Queen, Judas Priest, Queensryche etc ) to mix the album which promises to have a harder and darker edge than previous releases.

A new version of the bands single ‘Whatever Heartache’ has been chosen as a featured track for the motion picture ‘The Forbidden Note’ a film by the uber talented British Director Callum Andrew Johnston.

The band very much intend to promote these releases extensively next year and will be releasing a new video as a precursor to the album together with live dates across the UK.
