Read more about the band...

The idea of Folk Stone was born from Lorenzo, Ferro and Forese, who wanted to bring back to life ancient melodies and put them in a metal environment. At the beginning Lorenzo and his tumbler friend Teo started to play Baghèt, the typical Bergamo’s bagpipe, and after a few months opted for the medieval bagpipe. Folk Stone find their inspiration in bands like In Extremo, Corvus Corax and Schelmish.

Folk Stone often performs in an entirely acoustic and instrumental line-up, mainly playing medieval or ancient folk songs along with fire-eaters and dancers.
