SappyFest is a little independent music festival produced annually in Sackville New Brunswick. We present our 10th in 2015. The future is unwritten.

Now a registered non-profit organization, SappyFest Incorporated, the festival was founded in 2006 by the good people of Sappy Records. At the time it seemed like a more feasible way to get all our friends together than a wedding, and certainly more fun than releasing records into the ether.

Angel Olsen is an American folk and indie rock singer and guitarist. After her first EP Strange Cacti and a debut album, Half Way Home on Bathetic Records, Olsen signed with Jagjaguwar ahead of her first full-band record, Burn Your Fire For No Witness. She also recorded and toured as a backing singer with Bonnie Prince Billy and the Cairo Gang.

Speedy Ortiz is an American indie rock band from Northampton, Massachusetts. The band originated in 2011 as Sadie Dupuis’ solo project. The project expanded into a full band later that year. Rolling Stone named Speedy Ortiz’s new album Foil Deer as one of 2015’s best albums so far.

Doldrums craft musical montages, paint sonic pictures from a new palette, construct sounds using Airick’s own unique architectural blueprint. They apply a punk rock ethos to electronic music, creating songs using samplers and DJ gear in place of guitars.

Frog Eyes is an indie rock band from Victoria, British Columbia, known for their highly idiosyncratic songs, which center on Carey Mercer’s intense vocals. Their 2010 album Paul’s Tomb: A Triumph was a longlisted nominee for the 2010 Polaris Music Prize.

PUP is a Canadian punk rock band formed in Toronto. They were formerly called Topanga.
