Rasmus Lindgren

Rasmus is the founder and president of Festivalphoto. It all started out as a bit of a hobby and grew fast into so much more. He came up with the idea when he realised that he had heaps of concert and festival photographs just laying around and waiting to be published in cyberspace and shared with other music fans. He called on his friend and colleague Tomas Glimfelt to help him build the site and Festivalphoto as you now know it was born.

These days Rasmus is a freelance photographer and videographer living in Malmö, Sweden. He’s been shooting all kinds of photos for many years but his first love is concert photography as it allows him to combine his passions for music and photography. All of the lunatics he meets on the festival scene & crazy sights to be seen in the festival grounds also provide for some very interesting photos too which is another great benefit!

When not looking through the lens at a concert or taking pictures of models, bands, portraits etc. he also loves skiing, snowboarding and travelling around the world. And as you’d expect from what we’ve told you so far, even then his camera is never far from his side which has allowed him to build up a great portfolio of landscape, nature and cultural pictures to add to his music and festival collection. If you’re a regular visitor to Festivalphoto (and you should be!) then I’m guessing you’ll have probably seen evidence of some of his shots already on this site.
