THE DARKNESS REVEAL NEW SONG 'THE HORN' AND ALBUM SPECIAL EDITION

Currently travelling the length and breadth of the UK on their longest tour to date, THE DARKNESS have also announced details of a brand new track and a special edition of their third album ‘Hot Cakes’.
‘THE HORN’ is available immediately digitally (at all good retailers!) and was recorded at The Hawk’s Nest, guitarist Dan Hawkins’ studio in Norfolk. There will also be a limited edition 7” picture disc available (500 copies) through the bands website – www.theactualdarkness.com ‘The Horn’ is backed with a new recording of their Christmas number two single that should have been number one ‘Christmas Time, (Don’t Let The Bells End)’ and features the Seagull Theatre Train Children's Choir from Lowestoft.

A special edition iTunes bundle of the ‘Hot Cakes’ album is also available featuring the album plus ‘The Horn’ / 'Christmas Time’ plus a set of live favourites recorded at Thetford Forest, Suffolk in summer of 2012. The live set will also be available separately, under the title ‘The Platinum Correction’.
The 28 date tour which has already seen legendary performances throughout November is celebrating the 10th anniversary of their triple platinum legendary No. 1 debut album ‘Permission To Land’ – which featured the classics – ‘Get Your Hands Off My Woman’ and ‘I Believe In a Thing Called Love’ and garnered the band 3 Brit Awards – they will play the record in full alongside their hits from the subsequent two top ten albums ‘One Way Ticket To Hell And Back’ and last year’s ‘Hot Cakes’.
