| Kilkim Žaibu One of the largest open-air black metal/heavy metal and folk music festivals in the Baltic region, Europe. It is held annually since 1999 and attracts approx. 1500–2000 visitors each year. 13th edition of KILKIM ŽAIBU (ARISE WITH THUNDER), the Festival of ancient traditions and heavy music, that will roar again during the Solstice on June 22 – 24, by the lake Lūkstas, Varniai, Samogitia, Lithuania.
Festival will have two separate squares with individual stages.
One square will be be occupied by heavy music.
Heavy stage bands are: ARKONA, AULI, GOSPEL OF THE HORNS, HELHEIM, KATEDRA LEAD DUET, KRODA, OBSCURUS ORBIS, TAAKE, METSATÖLL, WOLFCHANT, ŽALVARINIS
Another square will devoted to the ancient traditions: old songs, old fights, ancient crafts. Young visitors of festival will be able to enjoy the unique riding Lithuanian horses - žemaitukai.
