Elton John confirmed for British Summer Time gig in Hyde Park
He joins already announced headliners The Rolling Stones and Bon Jovi at the Hyde Park festival. London’s newest music festival has announced that Elton John will play the event in July.

With The Rolling Stones already set to play two sold-out dates, the Candle in the Wind singer joins Bon Jovi, The Vaccines and Jake Bugg for three weeks of live music in London’s Hyde Park at the Barclaycard presents British Summer Time show.

Supported by former Kinks frontman Ray Davies, and Elvis Costello, Sir Elton will play the venue on July 12, with tickets going on sale at 9am on Thursday May 23.

Due to an overwhelming demand for tickets, The Rolling Stones added a second Hyde Park date to their 50 And Counting tour, which will see the band play the venue on July 6 and 13 for the first time since their historic gig there in 1969.

When tickets were released for the first date the 65,000 allocation sold out in less than five minutes.

Bon Jovi will headline the venue on July 5.

This is a gold opportunity to see The Rolling Stones... Be part of that moment... I mean, they are going to die soon... so, is better that you don't miss this one life time chance.
