  Montreux Jazz Festival

The Montreux Jazz Festival is the one of the best jazz festivals in the World. It was found in 1967 by Claude Nobs and Geo Voumard. It is the second largest annual music festival after Montreal International Jazz Festival.

The concerts plays on two stages, Stravinsky Auditorium and Miles Davis Hall. Several famous artists played at this festival: Keith Jarrett, Bill Evans, Weather Report, Nina Simone, Herbie Hancock, Dizzy Gillespie, Miles Davis, B.B.King, Buddy Guy, Frank Zappa, Led Zeppelin and many, many others.

The festival is usually in the end of June / Beginning of July. Held in Montreux on the Lake Geneva shoreline.
